The active substance contained in Spedifen tablets is ibuprofen which belongs to the group of the so-called Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) which have painkilling, fever reducing and anti-inflammatory properties. In dental pain, a meaningful pain relief occurs within 25-30 minutes.
Spidifen 400 Tablet can be used to provide a pain relief in the following situations:
dental pain
headache
fever
menstrual pain without apparent cause (primary dysmenorrhoea)
The usual dose is for adults and children of 12 years and older: 1 tablet, if necessary followed by 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours; maximum 3 tablets per 24 hours. This product is not intended for use in children under 12 years.
